I just heard about Dave's passing. I will never forget the fun times we had with the Columbine H.S. Band. He was always a pleasure to work with and be around. I remember, Kathy, when you and Dave rode off together on the motorcycle after the competitions and barely missed the rain storm. Kathy, your family will be in my thoughts and prayers.

I am without words. I just now hear of Dave's passing. My heart goes out to his family. I worked with Dave at DU and loved his attitude, his honesty and his laugh. He was such a breathe of fresh air. I will miss him so much.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the Hartsock family. His smile, his sense of humor, his goofy ways will be truly missed by all.. Dave was a good friend to all, anyone that had the pleasure in meeting him was a gift from god. He is up in heaven now looking down upon us and will always be a sparkle in our eyes. He will never be forgotten only remembered for what he has brought to this world and to you and me and most of all what he brought to his family. Kathy he will always be with you.. God bless you all..

I can only say I am sorry for your loss, I try to imagine what it must be like to lose the one you love so dearly, I don't know what I would do if I lost Mark. I will miss seeing Dave's wonderful smile and hearing his voice.
He has been there for us when we needed him and he has helped Mark and I with so much.
Dave was a good man and he will be missed, we love you all.
May God keep you safe and heal your hearts soon.
