Dorie, thank you for bringing sunshine into my father's life. After my mother passed away, my dad was very depressed and lost without her. You came into his life and gave him love, comfort, and happiness. One of the many things I admire about you is the interest you took in everyone and everything around you. You knew the names of all of your friends' relatives and you knew practically everyone who lived at the Pearl Street Health Center. Your memory was astounding. You thrived around people and they in turn thrived around you. Even when you were powerless to walk you continued to be fully engaged in the life around you. You always made the best of everything. The enthusiasm you had for life, through all of its ups and downs, is an inspiration to us all.
Love,
Janine
P.S. Thanks for ordering sunshine in Denver whenever we visited from Seattle!

Dear Grandma,
Thank you for teaching me to bowl, dance, and play bingo. You had such a passion for life and truly lived. I see so much of my traits having come from you. I loved working with you at the Law Firm. Kevin and I enjoyed the many lunches with you and Grandpa John. I am glad you were able to do so much in your life.

Grandma, thank you for all the wonderful years together. Spending many weekends with you, Grandpa Vic and Grandpa John. Taking you to Sunday services after you could no longer drive. Trying to teach me how to bowl...as you said...I could never be as good as Luther :) You taught me how to enjoy life and make the best of everything. You and Grandpa John teaching me how to dance at the Windsor Inn. You have past your passion to dance onto Zoey and I feel you around when she is dancing. I know that you are in the stars dancing for us.

Grandma,
I will always remember how you taught me to bowl; got me on a league and even the tournaments we did together. I remember freezing at the Denver Bronco games and attending Denver Nuggets games with you. Having B-day dinners and going to Simms Landing for my Graduation. As I grew up we did not always have a lot, but you made sure I got to experience many of the things you love like Sports, Dinning, Bowling, and Bingo.
I will miss you
Love your Grandson Luther
