I worked with Dorsey in Denver Public Schools for many years at Cole Middle School. We had many great times at Cole and after our retirement. We often ate lunch with a group of Cole retired teachers. We spend many hours discussing our days as Cole teachers and sometimes it involved humor! Dorsey had a great career as his obit describes. He was so proud of his children and grandchildren, and he often related their achievements in our FaceBook communications. He contributed regularly to my daughter's campaign for public office in 2020 (although she lost) and both she and I appreciated his generosity. Dorsey will be missed.

My thoughts and prayers to you, Dorsey's loved ones. I enjoyed teaching with him back in the day at Cole.
