To Sean, who sent word to Marquette High, and all the family, my deepest sympathy. I was John's classmate throughout high school but worked for his competitor (now Fr. John Wambach, S.J.) in the friendly race for senior class president. All of you (and John) have been in my prayers and will continue to be through this difficult period. Earl Fischer

To the Bendel family
John was the best supervisor I ever had. When he was at Stearns-Roger, he managed our section with knowledge and wisdom. I'm sorry I lost touch through the years, but am glad I could greet him at Lyna Weltzer's funeral. Marge Muzzillo

To the Bendel Family:
The Lachance and Downing Families want to express our deepest sorrow and sympathy on the passing of John. We all know that he and Eileen will be reunited again in heaven, a place that they so richly deserved. We will always miss his quiet humor and sense of decency, and his visits East (Cape Cod, Cambridge, etc,,,)
For the Lachances and Downing Families,
God Bless,
Joan (Downing) & Roland Lachance

Dear Bendel Family-
I am so sorry to hear of your Dad's passing. He was as was Eileen one of my favorite patients and certainly
Dr. Doig's. The years that I was involved in their care we developed a friendship, and you were talked about frequently all four of you, and the grand kids. You have parents who truly loved you and were so incredibly proud of you all.
May God Bless you at this time, and should you need anything, please contact me.
