John G. Gerber MD, internationally-known physician, scientist and educator, died February 6, 2021 in Palm Springs, CA. After fellowship training he spent his entire career on the faculty at the CU School of Medicine, rising quickly to full professor in the Depts. of Medicine and Pharmacology. Author of more than 160 scientific papers, he made significant contributions to the care of persons living with HIV/AIDs through his work regarding drug-drug interactions and drug combinations as well as participating in the AIDS Clinical Trials Pharmacology Group and advising the FDA. He retired to Palm Springs, CA where he pursued his passions for tennis, poker, travel and horse racing. Contributions to Holocaust Memorial and Museum, Washington DC.

Words could never be enough to honor Dr. Gerber for his medical contributions and compassion he contributed to the HIV/AIDs Community. He gave of himself to help so many others. This is a beautiful legacy for his family and friends to save in their memories and hearts.
