This is for my father John G. Romero;
My heart is still heavy, for my father is with me no more,here on earth. I will miss his telling of things of consequence and not,the stories and adventures of his youth,the memories of our families times together. His personal journey to become closer to God and the Lord Jesus,from the perspective of a recently discovered Jewish heritage. There are so many more things I would love to here my father speak,but I will have to wait for some future meeting when I can give him hug in person. He is soaring with the Angels,with my brother Kenneth Eloy Romero,and mother Debra Delores Romero. I love you and miss you Dad, Your son Gary & Daughter inlaw Tina Romero.

My Uncle John G. Romero, Brother to My Mother June E. Romero-Stone. Youngest Child of Juanita Padilla-Romero & Eloy Romero of Trinidad & Starkville, CO., Father of My Cousins; Nadine Romero-San Juan of Washington & Gary Romero of Colorado.
I am proud to have such thick blood coming from very Strong People(s) and a fantastic Heritage. My Mother June E. Romero-Stone has always collected and investigated Our Family History trying to connect all of the missing dots as; We did not grow up with Our Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles or Cousins I have learned Our Family History from Photos, News Clippings, Birth/Death Certificates,Geneology charts, Coat of Arms and Mt. Olivet Cemetary in Colorado where many of Our Relatives are buried-I have alway gone to visit my Family at the Cemetary..., most of all My Grandmother: Juanita Padilla-Romero who I was named after. I have always had a strong bond with My Grandmother even though She died when My Mother was only 11 yrs. old.
I am Proud of My Cousin Nadine Romero- San Juan for gathering this important information to share with Our Family. I must say as I grew Older I had the chance to meet My Aunt Lydia Tafoya,Cousin(s) Art & Russell Tafoya, My Uncle Norman & Aunt Lydia, Cousin Jerry and 2nd. Cousin Vickie. I was honored to meet My Aunt Margaret & Uncle Jimmy prior to their passing. About 5 yrs. ago I was blessed to meet My Cousin Terry Lynn Romero-Montoya along with 2nd. & 3rd. Cousins who remain in the San Louis Valley "Chama" Colorado (We lost Terry to the Lord on October 1, 2012) I am however, so Thankful that I have a bond with Nadine. In addition, I am learning to communicate with another Cuz "Sherri Lynn" in Canada.
I am proud to be from such Spirit and Strong Blood- A force to be wreckened with! I will miss the fact that there was never enough time to get to know My Uncle John; the Youngest of twelve. The Children Of Eloy & Juanita Romero are now only two: My Mother June E. Romero-Stone of Colorado/CA. and My Uncle Eddie Lee Romero of Colorado. I will forever adorn My Mother for caring, gathering and sharing Our Family History with intentions of teaching Each of Us that We "DO NOT" stand alone..., As We are Many, We are Strong, Powerful and Our Spirits are Forever.
With great emphasis; I hope that this Guest Book will connect more dots, memories, Historical Photos and new discoveries of Family Members for Family Members.
Thank You Nadine for being the Best! A Very Beautiful, intellegent, dilegent, intentional, honorable Daughter,Sister,Wife, Neice & Cousin that You could be. I Love You My Cousin xoxox Nina
