John Scherr Obituary

John Sebastian Scherr, born September 19, 1921 in Linton North Dakota to Michael and Johanna. Survived by his wife Helen Scrivner Scherr; father of Faythe (Paul) Merrick, Cyndi (Dave) Beckingham, Cheri (Don) Chambers, Tim Scrivner, Tom Scrivner and Mary (Mark) Kellner. Also survived by 13 grandchildren 14 great grandchildren 5 great great grandchildren. Also survived by siblings Joseph, Robert Scherr Isabel Heinz Annie Gray, and Sr. Clara Scherr many nieces and nephews Preceded in death by his first wife Annamae Berger-Scherr, son, Daniel Joseph. John served in WWII and retired from the Samsonite Luggage Corp after 43 years of service. Visitation Thursday 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the mortuary chapel. Rosary 10;00 a.m. and Funeral Mass 10:30 a.m. at St Anthony of Padua. Interment at Ft. Logan National Cemetery Stage B, 12:30.
