Jon Scott Pool, age 54, of Morrison, CO passed away unexpectedly on May 31, 2021. Although cut too short, Jon lived a life full of accomplishment. He was a graduate of Brophy College Prep and Arizona State University. Born in Kansas City. MO, he was a terrific student from the beginning and was particularly adept in the areas of math and science, becoming proficient at a very young age in the field of personal computing. Mostly self-taught, he parlayed this interest into a distinguished career in computer science and software development- eventually building a very successful company. He loved to cook and always had an adventurous palate. There wasn't a dish too out of bounds or an ingredient too exotic for him to either cook or eat. A huge fan of travel, Jon enjoyed many trips around the country and globe. He was preceded in death by his father Terry and his brother Bobby. He is survived by his mother Judy, of Phoenix, AZ, his two sons Jack and Luke, both of Boulder, CO, his former spouse and their mother Kathy of Morrison, CO, siblings Lisa, Matthew and Susan all of Phoenix, AZ and Patrick of Grand Junction, CO, and several nieces and nephews. There will be a private family service. Donations in Jon's memory may be made to the ASPCA.
