Joe was a unique individual with tremendous talent and a love for life. He was a humble man who avoided conflict and confusion at all costs. He was generous, compassionate and intelligent. He loved his family and friends very much. His love of the railroad will live on for years in his art work displayed around the Denver area. He met and drew several celebrities and never knew what a 'celebrity' he was to those who met him. I was privileged to have known him. He will be greatly missed by many.
