HURST, LARRY SR. Larry Hurst, Sr., Denver. Husband of Lola Hurst, Denver; son of Naoni Hurst, Denver; father of Larry Hurst, Jr., Denver and Dana (Dwayne) Clark, Acworth, GA; brother of Thomas Hurst, Denver, Deanna (Emanuel) Green, Denver, Stephanie P. Hurst, Atlanta, GA, and Saundra (Lewis) Phillips, Aurora; three grandchildren Edward, Jalen Clark, and Talia Oliver Hurst; a host of nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends. Visitation, Thursday 4 p.m. to 9 p.m., Kirk Chapel. Services, Friday 11 a.m., Macedonia Baptist Church, 3240 Adams St. to Fairmount Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to The Owl Club of Denver Scholarship Fund, 2815 Madison St., Denver 80205.

I knew Larry only thru curbside check-in at DIA, and he always had a smile on his face and a warm and friendly hand reaching out. He went out of his way to make me feel like he was a friend and he will be missed. My heartfelt condolences go out to his family and loved ones. He made the world a better place.
