I was blessed to have Marcus come into my life when my Daughter was 2 1/2. He was like a son to me and a brother to Courtney. So many memories over so many years. You are missed Marcus.

I only met and spoke with Marcus one time but came away thinking he was a fine young man. Tom and I have spent considerable time proudly talking about each of our kids over pizza on Friday afternoons. Sally and I are truly sorry for your loss.

Marcus was my cousin, the closest in age to me out of all my cousins. Growing up I often remember being with him and his sister, usually hanging out with our Pawpaw. My deepest condolences to my aunt and uncle. I will forever treasure the memories of all of us growing up and my trip to Colorado and their trips visiting us in Tampa. It brings me peace knowing his sister and pawpaw and all his other loved ones were there to embrace him as he crossed. Thinking of you always.

Al and I will miss sharing our BBQ's with him and sitting outside just enjoying the peace of the day and watch our dogs play and beg for cookies.
I think Birdee will miss him too. She use to enjoy sitting and playing with him. I will miss sitting with him outside by the fire. We never found the quiet awkward just peaceful and comforting.
I will miss his quiet friendship the most though.

Marilyn and Tom, I am so very sorry for your loss. I never met Marcus, but if he's anything like you he was a loving and kind person. The more I read about him confirms that. I pray that God holds you all close to his heart and give you peace and strength during these difficult days.

Big smile on a sweet guy. I remember late night candy runs when he was little and the other kids were asleep. He made everyone laugh, sly sense of humor.

Marcus was a kind and thoughtful young man with an incredible and indelible smile that made you want to engage with him in conversation even when he seemed quiet. That quality made him so likeable.

Marcus had a big heart kind and sweet. Thanks to Mary and Tom for sharing Marcus w me his Aunt Connie. We made many great memories. I am so thankful for the last trip he made to Iowa as we were able to reconnect. I just don’t have the words to express what I feel. I know he is in a beautiful place with Jeri, Danny, Grandma Bernice, his 2 aunt Kathy’s and grandma and grandpa Hyde. You will forever be missed. Til we meet again. Fly high with the angels.
