Rev. Marcus M. Medrano, 83, passed away peacefully Thursday, April 4, 2019. He was former pastor of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Denver. He is beloved by many. Vigil Service Thursday, April 11, 2019, 6:00pm, Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 2760 Larimer St.. Mass of Christian Burial Saturday, April 13, 2019, 10am, Cathedral Basilica of the Immaculate Conception, 1535 N. Logan St. Burial Mount Olivet Cemetery. Please share condolences at HoranCares.com

Father Marcus celebrated Mass at our parish of Shrine of St. Anne, heard confessions, and was there whenever we needed him. He had a very interesting life as a late vocation to the priesthood, having been ordained a priest at age 52. His turning his life around inspired many at the Shrine of St. Anne. We pray for him and miss him.

As I said early, you will be truely missed by all your family...Cousins & Friends. Rest in peace, "Father Marcus." You are loved; thank you for all your prayers, blessings & love for our family...and always being there in my darkest hours of life. You will never be forgotten; may Jesus have you in his loving arms....No more pain for you...only true love, blessings, & grace from our Lord Jesus Christ for you. Plz. let my Mom & Dad & brother David know how much I love them & miss them every day.
