I was very fortunate to have had the opportunity to spend a few days with Mel Siff at a Supertraining Camp this past summer. I am very grateful having met such a great human being with an unmatched sense of humor, relentless enthusiasm for strength and conditioning and a true inspiration. Very seldom in life do you meet someone who is an inspiration in every aspect of their life. I've had the great opportunity to meet two so far, Mel Siff and his wife Lisa Ericson. Mel will be greatly missed.

It was a terrible shock to learn of Dr. Siff's death.
Words cannot express my great sadness and my deepest condolences to his wife Lisa Ann and his family.
I had the great pleasure of communicating with and learning from Dr. Siff through his publications and SuperTraining forums. He was a true educator in that he asked you to think, question and defend as opposed to blindly accepting the status quo.
His intellect, knowledge, experience and wit will be missed by all those whose life he touched and influenced.

Although I didn't know Dr. Siff personally, I have read his postings on the Internet for upwards of 7 years. He has changed my life with his incredible knowledge, kindness, humor and zest for all things strength. He will be missed.
