Mr. Hoffman(I always called him that) was my friend and role model. Carol and I have been friends since we were 5, and Mr. Hoffman was the perfectly quintessential father, husband, friend, and ethical example of what we should emulate. If more people were like him, this would, indeed, be a beautifully kind world. He will be greatly missed.

To the Hoffman family,
Today is a very sad day for me. I just learned (via the Denver Post Obits online - catching up for the past two months) that your father has recently passed. I send my very deepest condolences to all of you for your loss.
I have always been very fond of Tuffy, he was such a nice man. I will miss his brief but informative notes he would send to us at Christmas. your parents were very special people. As a young girl, I remember thinking that someday I would have a husband like the man that my cousin Volley was married to...(I did get a really great guy!)
Although I did not get to know you, the Hoffman children, I believe that your parents were wonderful role models for their family, for me, and many others.
I am feeling a deep and sincere loss at his passing.

Mr. Hoffman, the Johnson Family will miss you, but rejoice in knowing you are in a better place. You were simply...THE BEST!
