Pamela Kammer Obituary
Pamela Jo (Ehresman) Kammer passed away Tuesday, May 30, 2023 at her home in Arvada, CO. She was born June 2, 1947 in Gary, Indiana to Gilbert G. Ehresman and Frances Bailey Ehresman. Pam was a beautiful woman, caring wife, loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and lifelong friend to many. She touched the lives of all who met her. For 37 years, she was a master hair stylist at Spectra Salon in Boulder CO and subsequently at Beauty Brands in Boulder until her retirement in 2010. Pam was not only a stylist. Her passions included cooking, gardening, decorating, traveling, birdwatching, painting, pottery and fused glass. She loved animals, especially her dog Opie. Blues music was a favorite and she attended many blues festivals throughout her life with her dear friends. Her life was well lived and she was loved by many. She will be greatly missed. Pam is survived by her husband James Kammer of Arvada, CO, her son Michael Pouch (Sandy Pohlman) of Crown Point, IN, daughter Christine Christoph of La Porte, IN, sisters Debbie (Bill) Adams of Gun Lake, MI, Patty (Steve) Vargo of Berrien Springs, MI, Peggy (Dennis) Ahlders of Lakeland, FL, Barbara (Doug) Sykes of Longmont, CO, and brother Gilbert (Kathy) Ehresman of Knox, IN, two grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and her dog Opie. She is preceded in death by her parents, children Terri and Jerri Pouch and sister Francie B. Thomas. Please send any loving thoughts, stories or memories of our dear Pam that we will enjoy sharing at her celebration to [email protected]. Please join her family in celebrating her life on August 5th, 2023, 1:00 - 4:00 pm. at Calvary Church, 1320 Arapahoe Street, Golden, CO 80401. In lieu of flowers, donations in her honor may be made to Foothills Animal Shelter, 50 McIntyre St, Golden CO, 80401.
