It is with a heavy heart that I am sending my deepest heart felt condolences to the Figueroa Family. Words cannot express how deeply sorry I am to hear of your loss. Ray was blessed with a wonderful family, whom he loved very much. You could see the love in his eyes every time he looked at Edith. He always had words of wisdom and encouragement for Mai-lin, Yari and I growing up. Ray was by far the most caring, intelligent and optimistic man I've ever met. May GOD comfort you all during your time of grief.

My heart goes out to this beautiful family during this difficult time. John and I were blessed to have known Ray. He always had a smile for everyone he met. A truly peaceful, wise and loving man. The world is poorer and Heaven richer for this tragedy.

To the Figueroa Family, my deepest sympathy to you. I got to know Ray while working with EPA in Denver. What a wonderful delightful man. As others have mentioned, I truly enjoyed working with Ray and respected him very much. His shared his military stories with me ( a fellow retired military member) and I enjoyed those stories very much. I will truly miss Ray and I pray your grief will not last long. With the greatest respect.

I am deeply saddened to hear about the death of our dear friend and colleague, Ray Figueroa. I truly enjoyed working with Ray while he was here at the EPA Region 8 Denver Office. Ray helped us with our outreach to tribes, states, and local governments and he authored and published our quarterly newsletter, PARatus, for our Emergency Response and Preparedness Program. Ray will truly be missed and he will be remembered for his distinguished mannerism and excellent contribution he brought to our Team. Please accept my condolences for your loss and know that he is in my thoughts and prayers.
