Richard Reimer Obituary

Richard (Dick) Reimer, age 84, passed away on April 22, 2017. Dick was born in St. Louis, MO. He married Diane Emerson on October 9, 1954 in Denver. Dick and Diane were married for 60 years and raised three children in Grand Junction, CO. Dick was preceded in death by his wife, Diane and his daughter, Lori. Survivors include son Steve Reimer (Deborahanne), Lake Forest, IL. and daughter Jodi Tompkins (Jim), Denver, CO., grandchildren Ryan Tompkins (Kathryn), Matthew Tompkins, Nick Nimmerfroh, Hunter Nimmerfroh and Jonathan (JR) Reimer and great grandchild, Eloise Tompkins; nephews Kevin and Todd Reimer. Services will be held on Monday, May 1, 10:30 am at St. Peter Lutheran Church, 9300 E. Belleview Ave., Greenwood Village. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his name to Grand Junction baseball Committee/JUCO, P.O. Box 100, Grand Junction, CO. 81502. With our deepest sympathy and love to the family...Dick was a sweet, funny and kind man who loved his family, the Lord and of course, baseball!
