Sarah Jane "Sally" Crabtree

1937 - 2014

A graceful, loving, and caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, Sally Crabtree passed away Sunday evening from brain cancer. Sally was an inspiration to all throughout her life, touching many lives with her beautiful spirit and radiant smile. She was an active member of Trinity United Methodist Church and helped start their thriving Stephen Ministries program. Sally's other activities included Junior League of Denver, Tuesday Morning class, bridge club, prayer group, travel and gardening. Most of all, Sally loved being with family. Sally is survived by her husband of 30 years, Edwin Crabtree; sister Susan Bouma and husband, John, of Arizona; cousin Ann Rheem and husband, Clark, of Denver; daughter Linda Clark, 50, and her husband, Gray, of Greenwood Village; son, Greg Fullerton, 48, and wife, Susan, of Denver; stepson Mark Crabtree, 51, and wife, Mary, of Golden; stepdaughter Susan Seymour, 49, and husband, Patrick, of Seattle; along with 14 grandchildren. Sally's request was for us to focus on gratitude for wonderful memories and an immense love of family and friends. The memorial service will be at 2:00 p.m., next Sunday, March 16, at Trinity United Methodist Church, 1820 Broadway, Denver. In lieu of flowers, Sally asked that contributions be sent to Denver Kids or Trinity United Methodist Church Youth.
