Thomas Waddell Memoriam

Celebrating the Life of
Thomas R. Waddell
September 16, 1954 - May 27, 2023

Tom Waddell, 68, passed away at his home in Aurora, CO. He was born to Benjamin and Martha Waddell in Denver where he grew up and attended North High School. Here he met his future wife, Debbie. Following high school, the couple moved to Boulder to attend the University of Colorado together. They later moved to Tucson, AZ, got married and had two
children, Brandon and Candace.

After returning to Colorado, Tom and his family settled in Aurora. He spent his life and retirement doing the things he enjoyed most which included everything from scuba diving, to deep sea fishing, to motorcycle and bicycle riding. He could usually be found in his garage working on his '54 Ford Pickup, one of his many motorcycles, or his latest project. When not in his garage, he liked to collect knives and make wood carvings.

Tom is preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Carol Roseberry and Beverly Riegel and is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Debbie Waddell and children, Brandon Waddell, Candace (Elizabeth) Waddell and two grand-dogs; Franky and Ember. He is also survived by his sister, Cynthia Stogner, as well as cousins, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews.

A private memorial to honor Tom to be held. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory can be made to Animal Rescue of the Rockies.
