McKERNAN, "BARRELMAN" TIM "Barrelman" Tim McKernan, 69, passed away on 12/5/09 of lung disease. Tim lived large and enjoyed a life of full of Passion. He was loved by many for his big heart and endless enthusiasm. Tim bravely faced his illness with his loving wife Becky, his family and his close friends by his side. He is survived by Becky; mother Elisa McKernan; brothers Scott and Dean; sister Denice; children Todd, Taryn, Troy, Tifani, Melissa, Amber, Darrell, David and John; eleven grandchildren and one great grandchild. He was predeceased by his father Edward McKernan in July 2009. Please note change in venue from the stairs of the City and County Building to the Civic Center Greek Theater, Denver. A public service to celebrate his life will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, December 19th at the Civic Center Greek Theater, Denver. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Barrels of Love Memorial Fund, FirstBank, 550 South Wadsworth Blvd., Lakewood, CO 80226. Please visit www.newcomerdenver.com for full obituary. I will never forget the first and last time I was able to see the barrel man for myself. both games were cold, both games were won by the broncos and his legacy will never be lost, he lives in the center of the action, never forgotten always remembered. from the youngest of the KLINE family. I was sorry to hear about Tim's passing. I never had the pleasure of meeting him in person but it was always a delight to see him on television at the Bronco games.
