Airman First Class of Air Force Reserve and Captain of the Denver Fire Department
William (Bill) Walter Fromm at the age of 82, went home to the Lord on March 29 while at Denver Hospice Inpatient Care Center of Colorado.
Bill was a blessing to his parents, Ester and Martin Fromm of Cedarburg, Wisconsin in 1939. He proudly served in the United States Air Force, studied at Oklahoma State, and joined the Denver Fire Department where he dedicated his life by serving for 34 years, retiring as Captain. Bill married LaVerne and together they became a family of 3 girls and 2 boys. Over the years it grew to 13 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. He loved and supported his family.
Bill was a blessing to his community by volunteering as a sponsor for AA, tutoring at Ponderosa and Lutheran High School. He was also known as the "Classroom Grandpa" at Trinity Lutheran School in Franktown for over 13 years. In his spare time, Bill enjoyed vegetable gardening, planting rows of flowers and trees, reading the Bible, and walking the mall with LaVerne.
He loved his Lord and Savior with all his heart. He was the most caring, selfless, faithful servant to all who knew him. His morals and values impacted more families than he ever knew. Bill will be missed by so many, but we will be together in Heaven.

Sorry to hear Bill Fromm's death. Lots of good memories with the cousins when we were all young. We were cousins as our mothers, Viola and Esther were sisters. Always remember the Fromm stand at the Center Street market in MKE, as their stand was next to ours, selling lots of apples and gladiolas.
