Albert Blosch Obituary

1922 ~ 2013
Albert Samuel Blosch, 90, beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, passed away March 6, 2013 in Afton, Wyoming. Albert was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, July 27, 1922 to parents Leo Blosch and Marie Anna Rein Blosch. He is the last surviving sibling of the family of Leo Blosch. His marriage to Lila Bell Blosch was solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple on March 25, 1941. Albert is the father to seven children, 24 grandchildren and 46 great-grandchildren. He is survived by his children Gary Blosch, Marvin (Linda) Blosch, Barbara (Jim) Peterson, Kathy (Randy) Berg, Bonnie (Kevin) Jackson, Albert B. Blosch, Jonathon (Connie) Blosch.
Albert served in the Air Force during World War II and was honorably discharged. He was an original member of the 15th Ward. Albert managed Stover Bedding Upholstery for over 40 years until its closure. He established Albert's Upholstery in the following years, then sold to his partners after his retirement at age 68. His Business still bears his name. He was a Master Upholster and many fine products still are displayed in the homes of family, neighbors, and friends. Albert worked many long, hard hours providing for his wife and seven children. Later in life he enjoyed family trips to Bear Lake with his children and grandchildren on annual family reunions. Retirement brought him closer to the Lord through temple attendance. He made many friends in the care centers where he lived. We are grateful for the many kindnesses shown him and the wonderful care given him in his later life. He was a great investor in the lives and business of his children, and a gentleman who touched the hearts of many who knew him.
Viewing from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m., Monday, March 11, 2013 at the Orchard 6th Ward LDS Chapel, 3599 South Orchard Drive, Bountiful, Utah. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be at Lakeview Memorial Park, 1640 East Lakeview Drive in Bountiful, Utah.
