Barbara Hill Simpson passed away on August 22, 2018, after a lingering illness. Born on June 4, 1936, in Salt Lake City, UT to Robert Henry & Evelyn Balser Hill. Graduated Murray High. Married John W. Simpson on February 4, 1956. Blessed with three children: Janet Hamblin (deceased), Karen Simpson (deceased) and John Mark Simpson (Jennifer). Survived by husband John, eight grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Aug. 28, 2018, at 12:00 noon at Meadow Heights LDS Chapel located at 4310 South 3200 West, with a viewing prior from 10:00-11:45 a.m. Interment at Valley View Cemetery.

Barbara gave the best hugs and always made me feel loved and accepted. I will miss her sweet spirit but am glad she can be with her girls again.
