Forever in our hearts and forever in our minds. Davids kitchen will never be the same with out you. A lot of things wont. I never realized how much one person could touch so many lives until you... I just hope we can all be the type of person you are. We love and miss you dearly and always will.

Bonnie. I just received word about Chick. You have our deepest thoughts and prayers. Chick and I go way back in the Guard. He was always a Great Friend and example to me. I will never forget his Sense of Humor and Great Smile . Take care and stay close to your family.

The thing about Chick was that he knew who he was and did his own thing in his own way and time: kind of the Frank Sinatra of the neighborhood. He had that sparkle of knowing; that ability to find humor in the absurdities of life. He and Bonnie were the parents every teenager wanted to have because they listened. Potential melodramas were easily transformed into laughable scenarios. He and Bonnie were an unstoppable team. He probably didn't know how much I loved him and Bonnie; but love them I do.

Sorry to hear of Chicks passing. So many great memories of the Dunyons' and Viettis' growing up. There should be a little Chick Dunyon in everyone.

Dear Bonnie and Family
I am saddened to hear of Chick's passing. He was a great guy and a great patriot but, you already know that. I will always remember his sense of humor and he was always willing to help a Soldier out. Rest in Peace Chick. You'll be missed friend.

So sorry to hear of Chicks passing. I have such wonderful memories of him from camping & fishing, joining our families in tent cities.
A personal special memory is from a school field trip to view the Golden Spike at the Captial building; Chick was the Guardsman chosen to guard the spike, but the other children didn't believe that I knew him. When the line moved close enough, Chick greeting me warmly & we spoke as long as the movement in the line would allow.
I'll always remember him with warmth & fondness. He was a GOOD man.

Sorry to hear of your loss. Chick and I served together in several different capacities. I learned so much from him. His love for his family was always at the top of his priorities. Any retelling of a story about Chief Dunyon was always funny and happy - he had a great sense of humor and the deep sense of a patriot - My prayers are with you
