D'Onn Waldron Obituary

1946 ~ 2015
D'Onn was born May 22, 1946 and returned home to her loving Heavenly Father on Friday, December 11, 2015. She served as a loving wife, mother, sister, friend, and a faithful member of the LDS church. Her love of those around her was felt through her kindness and charity to others.
At the center of D'Onn's life was her family. She created a beautiful home that was inviting and welcoming to all. Those who knew her best often sought refuge in her care. We will miss her home cooked meals, her warm laugh and smile, her strength and counsel, but most of all her love.
She served a Mission in Santiago Chile with her husband, Gary, and was adored by those she served. D'Onn and Gary celebrated 50 years together and grew stronger with every passing year. Their great love story will last throughout eternity.
D'Onn is survived by her husband G. Gary Waldron; brothers, Ron (Carol) and Keith (Jean); sister, Sharon (Richard); children, Kari (Rob), Kim (Milt), Craig (Cori), Amy (Sam), Brian (Angie), and Jennifer; 23 grand children and seven great-grand children. She was preceded in death by her parents, Loyal and Irene Olson, and her nephew, Gary Olson.
A viewing will be held Thursday, Dec. 17 from 6-8 p.m. and Friday, Dec. 18 from 10-10:45 a.m. The funeral service will be Friday, Dec. 18 at 11 a.m. All services will be held at the LDS church at 535 W 2700 S, Syracuse, Utah. After which, a private graveside service will be held.
Our family would like to show gratitude for the outpouring of love and prayers received on our behalf during our mother's short battle with pancreatic cancer.

I was so sad to hear of D'Onn's passing. I thought the world of her and enjoyed the times I was able to visit with her. I'm sorry we couldn't attend the funeral but I was in the hospital that day. We hope and pray that you, Gary and family, will find comfort and peace as you move forward in life. Our best wishes are with you, Terry and Scott Carlson

Dear Waldron Family,

Our very deepest sympathies and heartfelt love for all of you, as you mourn the passing of a very very beautiful lady!!!
We both so enjoyed knowing her and she touched our lives in so many ways. I always knew there would be a good laugh to be had when we would have a moment to talk or visit. She certainly radiated love and warmth and light to all who knew her!! She will be greatly, missed!!
May you all feel the deep abiding love and comforting hands of our Heavenly Father and his Son during this Christmas Season and as you go into the New Year.

D'Onn we will miss you!Your bubbly personality and fun laugh. You are a cousin I have always felt close to because
of our (almost) twin names. You have lived an exemplary life and I have always been
proud of our relationship. Love You. Tell everyone
"hello" up there, we miss them too. Please give your Uncle Rex and Aunt Fern a hug from their daughter, D'Ann.

Gary, our hearts go out to you and your family at this difficult time. D'Onn was one of the very best. We are so grateful for eternal families.
