Tawnya, may the Lord comfort you and bless you and your family as you deal with the death of your mother. Perhaps this won't comfort you, but I also empathize with you because my mother was killed in an auto accident in 1990. She was ejected from the vehicle and killed instantly. It was a big shock, and that is what is so hard to accept. One minute they are here and the next minute they have returned to Heavenly Father. I love you, Tawyna, and have learned what a sweet and humble person you are. Please accept my most genuine condolences in your time at this loss. Your mother was beautiful, just like you. Take care and be sure to call me when you need to talk because I will listen. Love ya, Lorna

My sincere condolences on the passing of your wife, a wonderful woman. My daughter still keeps an important item that Florence made for her when she taught her in church. I appreciate the friendship you and Florence showed me when I was your neighbor.

Dear Lyle & Family,
I was so sorry to hear of Florence's passing. I have so many childhood memories of her because we lived next door to you. My sister Sherrie and I would listen to the Beach Boy's music too loud out on our deck, and she loved to come over and dance with us and say, "Hey, this is my music." She was so fun and full of life. As my Young Womens teacher she taught me many things. She made me a beautiful paper doll 25 years ago with many clothes. I always kept it because it was so beautiful - just like Florence. She was loved and will be missed by more people than you realize.
With much love, Brenda Christensen (Layton)

Lyle,
We are so saddened to hear of the loss of your wife. One month has passed since we too lost our oldest son to a motorcycle accident, so we know how your heart must ache.
Be strong in knowing that Florence had a rock solid testimony of the plan of salvation, and will still be active in the business of our lord and savior, whom she dearly loved. Bruce McConkie taught us that spirits are classified according to the purity of their lives and their obedience to the will of the lord while on earth. The righteous and the wicked are seperated, but the spirits may progress from one level to another as they learn gospel principles and live in accordance with them. It takes spirits like Florences to teach these principles.
Be strong in the knowledge that she loved and choose you to spend time, which has passed, and eternity, which is to come, with. I will forever carry with me the memory of my grandfather upon his death bed, who after a long 20 year absence from his loved one, looked up, smiled and said, "Where have you been." He then embraced presumbaly my grandmother and passed. I am sure that it was a joyful and splendid reunion, as one day you and your beloved Flo will also share. Joseph Smith once declaired that spirits of the righteous people who have died, "are not far from us, and know and understand our thoughts, feelings, and emotions, and are sometimes pained therewith." I am sure that Flo is close with you and will always be.
Florence will be missed by all who knew her and especially by those close to her. May the lord strenghten and bless you in this time of sorrow.

Dear Lyle and Family,
We were deeply saddened at Florence's sudden passing. While we all will miss her, the knowledge of where she is and what she is doing brings great comfort. The spirit world just got a warrior that will get things done! We express our love and support to you and your great family. I lost my father when he was 52 years old. I have come to know that it was his time and I am sure that it was Florence's time to go to the next level. The Master is in control. May our Father in Heaven and Savior comfort all of you. You are all in our prayers.
Love,

I remember Florence Ann as a child.
I looked up to her in many ways as she was confident, pretty and always smiled. Florence Ann is my cousin. Many years have gone by since I have seen her but she has always been part of my childhood memories. It was with sincere regret that I heard about Florence Ann's accident and the loss of your daughter, wife and mother. I know what a shock you have suffered. I wish to express my deepest sympathy and know that Heavenly Father is with each of you.
With love, Jennifer Andrews

My heartfelt sympathy goes out to the Boss family. Florence has always been such a wonderful, embracing, vibrant woman. I will never forget her unconditional friendship and genuine love for Jesus Christ and those she gently guided to His path. I was one of those young women in the 1970's that she always enveloped with her kindness. My prayers are with you at this time.

My prayers are with you Lyle. I was very shocked to here of this tragic accident. It's hard to believe this is real. I have some good memories of Florence Ann and the fun we cousin all had at Grandma Harris's house. Wonderful summer games, great Thanksgings and many more fun things that cousins do. May God comfort you at this time and wrap his loving arms around you. I'm sorry I missed you at the party the week before. My husband an I were in a roll over accident in June and still trying to get it together. I'm so very glad that we were able to see you at Nathaniels wedding. I want to keep the memory of Florence Ann as she was that night. HAPPY. Much love at this time.

I knew Florence just a short time while serving with her and Lyle at the Joseph Smith Memorial Building, but I can truly say that I will miss this amazing woman and servant of God. She brought a lot of vibrance and enthusiasm to each of our meetings and was so fun to talk to. I mourn at her passing, as do the rest of our team that had the blessing of serving with her. We will miss her so much and our truest condolences go out to Lyle and their precious family.
Much love, Calli

Lyle: We so enjoyed our visit in Brigham City. The entire Calderwood Family will mourn the loss of your beautiful talented companion. She lit up any room she entered with her presence. We were calling to give her the information she wanted and were so shocked to hear of her death. Thank God for the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We're sorry our temple obligations will keep us from coming up there Friday but our thoughts and prayers will be with you. Marva and Bob Wood

Dear Everyone,
We are new in the ward, and my husband and I came home after gospel doctrine talking about Florence Boss.
Have you ever met someone and they touched you with their presence just upon them walking in the room. So vibrant, so full of happiness, and strength.
A person we all want to be like.
Really a sharp dresser, beautiful dark below the ear length hair, very brilliant, well known for her gospel knowledge, always motivating and inspiring. Well versed in scriptures, pleasant, and loving.
You could not help but notice her, she was stunning all the way around. Lots of energy, you could tell she loved life, and was always of service.
We have never witnessed so much love in a ward,,,
We all have been touched by this wonderful mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, what an example of living a righteous life.
Live life your happiest everyday, go that extra mile.
We only knew her for a short time but we will never forget her.
Sincerely
Brody and Amy Call

Our thoughts and prayers are with Lyle, and their children and grandchildren, parents and brothers and sisters. Flo was one of my dearest friends since high school and in college we lived together and the Harris' took me in "off the street". Lyle and my husband, Jack, served their missions together and spent their college days together. We started having babies at the same time. We laughed and cryed many times together. We love you all and will grieve for the loss of Florence. We are thankful for the gospel of Jesus Christ. Tina and Jack McPhie
