Dear Family,
Don and I were saddened to read of your mothers passing. Having lost our mothers we realize sometimes when its too late how much they did for us.
I can still see Grace and Dorothy Merrill out gathering pop cans to take a trip to Europe or some far away place. I remember that they did collect enough to pay their way and how much fun they had.
Thank You Grace for being such a Christlike influence in our life as we raise our large family down on the corner of Goodwin and Garnette.
You will always bring back many fond memories of the Good Old Days in Rose Park.
Our Love to each of you who have been left behind. May you live life so that you will be again "Family Forever".
Sorry we were unable to be at your mothers fairwell services but, we know that they would have been wonderful.
May God Bless each of you at this difficult time.
With Friendship and Love,

Grace Olsen will always be remembered. My sympathy goes out to the family. I remember she was a very good cake decorator. She had a spotless house and always a friendly ear. She just talked away the last time I saw her when I took my parents up to visit her in the rest home.

I always felt so welcome in your home. I still think about Grace every year as I put together Easter baskets and I think of the decorated candy bars etc. I wish I didn't live so far away and could attend the services. Know that you are all in my thoughs and prayers.

Hey Olsen Family!
Sorry to hear about Grace's passing. Sometimes blessings come in sad times. I remember when mom went and it was sad but I was glad she was in a whole body again! I hope you find comfort and peace in that thought. I guess I won't get to hear her telling the "streaking" story again! My prayers are with you.

Grace was my moms best friend. I remember Grace very well. She was always very nice to me when we would go over to her house. My mom loved being in the same TOPS Club with Grace and it was even hosted at Grace's house for the longest time. My mom shared a lot of wondeful memories with Grace and one of her favorite times was when they took a trip back east in 1980 for a few weeks. My mom still talks about that trip to this day! My mom is very sad to hear of Grace's passing and wants the family to know that she will be missed and her thoughts and prayers go out to you all.

As a kid, living right next door to Grace, I never really appreciated her stories or wisdom until I had the opportunity to live next door to her again- as an adult with my own family. I remember Grace welcoming us home from the hospital with one of her beautiful handmade quilts for my new baby (which my son still sleeps with EVERY NIGHT!). My son, Jake, LOVED Grace so much. He would often disappear only to be found at her back door, asking for cookies. She lovingly became known as "Grandma Grace" to us. We want Rick, Brent, Nancy, & Jon to know you are in our thoughts. Sending lots of love from the Stangers

Dear Jon, Nancy, Brent & Rick:
I am SO sad to hear about Mama Grace passing. She was so fun to be with and I can always see her smile and laugh. I have really missed going to her house on Sundays to play Scrabble, and she always had something yummy to eat. My favorite was the banana bread that she put strawberries in! She was such a wonderful, caring, giving mom! You guys were such lucky kids to have Grace for a mom!
Please accept my apologies as I cannot attend the services, but I will definitely be thinking of you a lot and remembering Mama Grace as I knew and loved her! Please know I am thinking so much about you and all your families right now and sending my sincere sympathy and love. And Jon, I have to thank you for blessing my life with your mom.

Grandma will always be known for..................... Puppy Chow, Christmas Candy, Zuchinni/Banana Bread, Easter Bunnies made out of Moon Pies, hanging out for every U of U football/basketball game, sleep overs every year on Christmas Eve, playing under the quilt frames (they were up a lot), having dinner and playing cards/board games every Sunday........ Grandma was the sweetest lady who would do anything for anyone at any given time. She was always handing out gifts to all the neighbors and if you ever stopped by, she would send you on your way with bread, candy, or cookies made out of graham crackers and frosting.
Grandma I Love You Soooo Much and will miss you even more.
