John Busk Obituary
Elsinore, Utah
John Nielsen Busk, 79, passed away Tuesday, November 4, 2014, at his home in Elsinore. He was born September 5, 1935, in Bingham, Utah, the son of Stiner and Golda Pectol Busk. He married Patricia Christiansen, January 24, 1959, in the Manti LDS Temple. She preceded him in death November 23, 2013.
John was reared in Elsinore, graduated from South Sevier High School in 1953. He graduated from Utah State University, where he was active in the business club. He worked in banking and later started his own construction business, building in the Logan and Salt Lake areas as well as constructing many post offices throughout the state. After retirement, he and his wife moved to Elsinore
John is survived by his children: David (Heidi) Busk, Julie (Steve) Pfister, and Jennifer (Darin) Worden; 8 grandchildren; siblings:, Neal P. (Judy) Busk, Lydia Jane Gudmundsen, Dorothy (Brad) Thompson.
He was also preceded in death by his parents; sister, Carol Larsen; brother-in-law, Dick Gudmundsen.
Funeral services will be held Saturday November 8, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. in the Elsinore LDS Ward Chapel. Friends may call Friday from 6-8 p.m. at the Magleby Mortuary in Richfield or Saturday at the ward chapel in Elsinore from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Burial will be in the Elsinore Cemetery. I have always loved John. I had a crush on him when I was a little girl. He was always one of my favorites. His smile could make you feel good even on your worst day. He was kind, loving and fun to be around. He was loved by our family very much. We will miss him very much.
We are sorry we couldn't be there, know how we love your family. Our prayers are with you always.

We loved the Busk family. Julie was a good friend of my daughter, Paula, especially at Muir School. The Busks's were such a handsome couple and contributed much to the ward. We are glad we still have son David and wife in our stake. You could add Tooele to list for buildings, John built the Gillettes a four-plex there.
