KALVIN ROGERS Obituary

Kalvin Max Rogers 1942 ~ 2011 Kalvin was born October 17, 1942 to Fern Alice Malmstrom and Silas Max Rogers. Kalvin graduated from Granite High School and attended University of Utah. He was very talented with using science and mathematics in creating, inventing and repairing. Kalvin worked for 33 years as a tax assessor for the Utah Tax Commission and retired in 2006. He loved to travel and enjoyed researching his future travels. He loved Hawaii, Australia, and New Zealand and had just returned from China. He loved to travel to New York to attend the Yankee's games. Kalvin showed his generosity by donating funds to help children. Preceded in death by his parents and twin brother Kent. Survived by many friends and loved ones, including his sister, Susan (Ken) Lasson, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Funeral services Thursday, June 2, 2011, 11:00 a.m. at the Broomhead Funeral Home, 12600 S. 2200 W. Riverton, where friends may call one hour prior. Interment will be at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.

We met Kalvin during our China tour. We believe he had as much fun as we did. His funeral was very nice and we were happy we were able to attend.
