Lena Roberts Obituary
Lena Willemina Roberts In the early morning hours of August 21, 2002, Lena Willemina Roberts, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend left her earthly body to return home to her father in heaven. She is survived by her husband of 49 years, John Calvin Roberts; three sisters Minnie Dokter (Hank), Nellie Harrington (Jim), Francis Stoker (Jake) and one brother Donald DeBoer (Aldean); Sons, Gary Vrieze (Linda), John Roberts (Cathy), Terry Roberts (Sharon), Debbie Smith (Danny), 15 grandchildren and 17 great-grand-children. She was born November 28, 1922 to Frank and Willemina (Kiezer) DeBoer. Preceded in death by her parents and her son David Vrieze. She was loved and will be missed by all who knew her. Graveside service will be held Friday at 11:00 a.m. at Utah Veterans Memorial Park, 1711 South Camp Williams Rd. Friends may call from 9:30 to 10:30 prior at the Broomhead Funeral Home, 12600 South 2200 West, Riverton, UT.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
