Matthew Neal Obituary
Matthew Bart Neal, loving husband, father & son passed away Wednesday, July 12, 2017 unexpectedly in his sleep at the age of 30. Matthew was born in West Islip, NY on September 2, 1986 to Helen Oliviero Neal and Stephen B. Neal and big brother David. The family moved to Bountiful, Utah when Matt was 3 years old. He always considered himself a New Yorker and loved going back to spend time with his cousins, Aunt Tori, and Uncle Dominick in the summers. Matt loved music and was a self taught guitar player. He was a wealth of knowledge about many subjects and could quote lines and characters from numerous movies.
Matt began dating the love of his life, Alyssa M. Bo, in 2011 and they were married on March 21, 2016. They share a beautiful daughter, Faith Raven and stepson, Dayton Daniel. Matt was a devoted husband and father and will be greatly missed.
Matt is survived by his wife Alyssa, daughter Faith and step-son Dayton, mother Helen & stepfather Gabe Andrasovsky, father Steve Neal & wife Cathee, brother David Neal & wife Candace. Also grandparents Don & Jane Basinger and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins who loved him very much. He is preceded in death by his grandparents Bart & Connie Oliviero, Charles Neal and Aunt Kathy Neal.
Funeral Services will be provided by Russon Mortuary, 295 North Main, Bountiful, Utah, Wednesday, July 19, 2017. A viewing will be held from 1:00-2:45 pm, followed by a memorial service at 3:00 pm. Online guestbook at www.russonmortuary.com

Helen and Gabe,
I am heartbroken for you both as you grieve the loss of your Son, Matthew. I don't know of any pain worse than losing a child. I am holding you both close to my heart and praying God's peace for you and your family.
