Our beloved son and brother Seth, passed away July 1, 2015. He was born May 23, 1984 to Sallie and Lynn Calder.
Seth Loved to spend time with family, friends and relatives. He loved them all and they all loved him immensely! He also loved the excitement and diversity of New York City, where he lived for 10 years. Handsome and charismatic, Seth made friends wherever he went.
Seth was an outstanding artist with a brilliant mind and contagious personality, and he could fly on his skateboard. He often enjoyed all night games of RISK with his brothers.
Seth had struggles and challenges that would bring anyone down, yet he kept fighting with his grit and a love for adventure and people.
Before his passing he told his mother he was praying for God's love and he was able to feel God's love for him. We also know of God's love and understanding of Seth and the struggles he faced. Now the challenges of this life are over and Seth can progress on the other side. We love him so much and can't wait to see him again - and we know we will.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, July 15, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 E. Dimple Dell Rd. (10600 S.) Sandy. Friends may visit Tuesday from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and Wednesday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the mortuary. Condolences can be shared at www.larkinmortuary.com

Sallie I heard of Seth's passing a couple of weeks ago and I just wanted to let you know that you and your family have been in my thoughts and prayers. I remember the days sitting in group with you and the glow you had around you when talking of Seth and you children. I will never forget the stories you would tell us and how much I learned from you! You taught me what kind of mother I want to be to Christian. I can't imagine the pain you feel but I know you son is at peace. I think of you often and just how wonderful of a person you are and the insane love you have in your heart. I can only imagine Seth was the same way. Just look at his momma. Xoxoxo

Sallie, I just learned of your son's passing. I never had the pleasure of meeting him...I can see by the comments that he was well loved. I am thinking of you with love and support just as you did with me at a time when I needed it. Trust in Him, He will encircle you in his Love.

I have been fortunate to spend a lot of time with countless young men through the young men's program of the LDS church. Even though I worked with hundreds, Seth was one of my favorites. He made me laugh all the time and was one of a kind. He was so nice to me and always had a smile! What a great young man! May God bless your entire family at this time!
