Brother/Mr. Egg was my seminary and history teacher, and a very good role model to me. He was an exceptional teacher, and his seminary classes were top notch. I look forward to seeing him again in the afterlife. - Sam Young, class of 78

What an honor it is to be able to say that my dear cousin, Therson Jay Egg, Sr., performed my baby blessing as the first Priesthood ordinance he performed as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, right before he entered the MTC. I cherish the picture I have from that day of him holding me as a baby. Love to you all, Carol and kids.

As I meditate on his warm demeanor, radiant smile, and Theron Egg's endless desire to help others in whatever way possible, I would like to extend my deepest condolences to the family at this hour. May you all cherish those special moments that you shared as a family and remember that He will comfort you now and always.

Just the other day I was thinking about Brother Egg. The first time in years. Many years ago we were a young family and moved to Barstow. Brother Egg was so kind to us and treated us as old friends. He was a great man and will be greatly missed. God bless the Egg family

My dad...an amazing, loving, caring father. I will always love you and will never forget the way you laugh, make jokes, sneak you candy, cried at family gathering because you were so happy. I will see you one day soon. Love you so much, your daughter Darlene
