Billy Algreen Obituary
Winterset - Billy Algreen, 87, died Tuesday, February 6, 2018, at Kavanagh on 56th in Des Moines.
A visitation will be held from 2 to 7 p.m., Thursday, February 8, at Ochiltree Funeral Service where family will be present to receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, February 9, at the Zion Lutheran Church in Dexter with burial to follow in the Winterset Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the family for a later designation. Online condolences may be left at ochiltree.com.
Billy is survived by his wife of 64 years, Sheila Algreen of Winterset; children, Teresa (Mike) Hoffelmeyer of Winterset; Phil Algreen of Earlham; Alan (Teresa) Algreen of Earlham; Paul (Deb) Algreen of Dexter; 15 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; a sister, Helen Hester of Earlham.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Pete and Freda Algreen and a daughter-in-law, Kimberly Algreen.
