Larry C. Weber, 78, of Winterset, passed away on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, at the Iowa Veterans Home in Marshalltown.

Larry Courtney Weber was born on July 17, 1947, in Merced, California, the son of Harold Jr. and Mary (Johnston) Weber. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War.

On March 21, 2000, Larry married Marlene Culver. The couple shared 20 years of marriage together. In 2016, they moved from Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Winterset, Iowa.

Larry worked for many years for a printing manufacturing company in Milwaukee. He enjoyed the outdoors and especially loved fly fishing.

He is survived by his sons, Brian (Ellen) Weber and Daniel Weber (Becca Sudduth); stepchildren, Michael Lowe (Tasha Newman) and Cori (Steve) Collie; grandchildren, Evelyn and Jack; step-grandchildren, Taytton, Toby, and Rae; and sisters, Diana Wade and Brenda Gerhardt.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents Harold and Mary Weber; his wife, Marlene; and his brother, Jim Weber.

A memorial graveside service with military honors will be held at a later date in the Winterset Cemetery. 

Memorials may be directed to the Winterset American Legion Post #184 (Attn: Commander, PO Box 84, Winterset, IA 50273) and the Winterset VFW Post #8142 (Attn: Quarter Master, 116 N. 3rd St, Winterset, IA 50273).
