We have been praying for your family every day for the past year. Its hard to believe our dear Carol has been in heaven that long. I just picture her playing her music and making beautiful artistic sewing crafts, just like she did Here on earth. I cant help thinking of her every day as we have the Noahs Ark quilt hanging over Joeys bed. I had her make it almost 30 years ago .
We hope that you and your family are carrying on her legacy with joy. Think of you often. I know you miss her greatly, but shes in the place we all strive to be.

One of my favorite quotes from Mother Terese is,
" Spread love everywhere you go, let no one ever come to you without leaving happier. " and that perfectly describes sweet Carol. We met when our daughters Elizabeth and JaNaye were classmates, but we soon found a bond of prayers for one another. She would encourage me with Hope for our son with Trumatic brain injury. And I would try to boost her spirits when she was having health issues. Still enjoying many of the beautiful items she stitched for us. She was truly an artist and an accomplished musician. Our favorite times together were spend sitting in our living rooms discussing scripture and our children. We both shared a deep love for our Lord and our children were our priorities.
May God be there to guide, strengthen and comfort all of you. Our greatest comfort in sorrow is knowing that God is with us. Your mom is now in the loving arms of Jesus and will be your guardian angel until you meet again in heaven .

I had the opportunity to work with Carol at DLA Piper. She was an incredibly warm spirit who carried her smile with her always. I am praying for her soul, and for her family. Eternal Rest Grant Unto Her, O Lord. And May Perpetual Light Shine Upon Her.

I loved Carol and will never forget the first time we met at the family reunion in Fish Creek, WI. That warm sisterly embrace and I wish so much that we had more time to get to know each other and talk about sewing and fabric and Jesus. You have seen what I have yet to. Rest in his arms and I'll see you soon!

Bill and family, I pray for peace and comfort during this difficult time. Letting go of a beloved hands when they depart this earth, and their absence, is devastating. Hugs and kisses, Janet, Mark, Alex and Megan (California Cousins)
