Chad Swigart Obituary
Des Moines - Chad Swigart, 40, passed away May 7, 2018, after a brief but courageous battle with cancer. He was born February 5, 1978, in Des Moines to Joel and Martha Swigart.
Chad is survived by his loving wife, Katie Swigart; children, Wren and Mannix Swigart; parents, Marty and Joel Swigart; sister, Sara (Eric) Neil; niece and nephew, Alona and Braedey Neil; parents-in-law, Charles and Jeanine Ecklund; brother and sister-in-law, Dan and Catherine Ecklund; nephew and niece, Jack and Lilia Ecklund; as well as other loving family and countless friends.
Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m., Friday, May 11, 2018, at Hamilton's near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue in Des Moines. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, May 12th at 2:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family in loving memory of Chad.

Chad will be greatly missed. He had a personality bigger than life. I have had the pleasure of knowing Chad since 1999. He was an amazing friend and stayed strong through the end. Godspeed.
