Cory Warrick Obituary

Age 62, died Friday August 4, 2017 at Methodist Hospital in Des Moines. Was cremated and we will be having a celebration of life at a later date. Memorials may be given to Jianqiu-Li (Lijin) Warrick memorial fund.
The son of Clyde H. & Molly B. (Buckley) Warrick. Cory was born August 2, 1955 at Iowa Lutheran Hospital in Des Moines. He graduated from Mingo High School in 1973. On April 11, 1980 he was united in marriage to Elaine M. Flattery in Colfax (deceased February 3, 1983). On April 28, 2012 he was united in marriage to Jianqiu-Li (Lijin) in Changchun, China. Cory was employed at Napa in Newton. Also had worked at Napa in Des Moines and Altoona and Union 76 Truck Stop. Cory enjoyed spending time with his wife and their two dogs Coco and Gia, family, friends and riding motorcycles.
Those left to honor his memory, is his wife Jianqiu-Li (Lijin) Warrick, brother Curt (Kathie) Warrick of Valeria, sister Cindy Slack of Des Moines and sister Crystal (Doug) Enderson of Altoona. And many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Proceeding Cory in death was his wife Elaine, brother in law Bobby and his parents.
