Jamie Sylvester, Norwalk City Council Member, age 36, died suddenly September 14, 2014.
Services 1:30 p.m. Friday at O'Leary Celebration of Life Center - Funeral & Cremation Services in Norwalk.
Friends may visit the funeral home after 3 p.m. Thursday where the family will be present to receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Memorials in her namewill be accepted.

Jamie was a Realtor with Iowa Realty in Des Moines. and served as a Norwalk City Council Member since 2011. She is survived by her husband, Todd, and their children, Hayley, Macie, and Todd II of Norwalk; her mother, Linda Law (Brian) of Alleman, IA; her father, Tom Foddrill of Ankeny, IA; her mother-in-laws, Gayla McDonald (Nick) of Urbandale, IA, and Becky Sylvester of Rocky Mount, MO; Todd's siblings, Mindy Franzeen (Blake) of Johnston, IA, Kristy Jones (Kevin) of Norwalk, and Dane Sylvester of Hedrick, IA.
