Janae Byford Obituary
A memorial service will be held at Christian Life Assembly on Thursday, December 16, 2010 at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established at Christian Life Assembly. Janae enjoyed spending her time reading and sharing her life with others. Janae's first thought was always of others and never hesitated to give of herself unselfishly. Funds will be donated to the Carlisle Elementary School Library, Teen Challenge and Christian Life Assembly.

i just looked back in my yearbooks and it was actually first grade. wow time flies! janae had a special place in my heart, i still remember being so excited to come to school because janae was there!!!! miss her face, think about her a lot. rest in peace angel.

Diane, thanks to Marlene H I learned the sad news of your daughter's death. My dear friend, I am so sorry for you and Joel, and I join you in mourning the loss of this precious little girl. May the loving Creator continue to bless your marriage, and your daily commitment to making the lives of little ones better. It is a blessing and an inspiration to know you. I am so glad little Janae also had that comfort, at least for an all to short while. Love and Peace!

Joel and Diane its Becky I just found out about the loss of Janae. I cant tell you how sorry I am. I know in the short time you and your family had her with you, you all blessed her life with happiness and love and gave her enjoyment as she did you. Children come and go in our lives but some leave very special footprints on our hearts. Janae left very special footprints on my heart. I met Janae over the summer even though we only spent around three months together she taught me alot. She will be greatly missed especially her beautiful smile. Her smile was contagious no matter how my day was she could always make it better with her smile. Heaven recieved a beautiful angel. You will be greatly missed Janae.

I had met Jenae only one time on the playground with my daughter Maleah. I remember vividly the happiness and excitement that they shared when they played together. Since the time that I shared the sad news with Maleah it has weighed very heavily on her heart. May you find comfort in knowing the impact that your precious angel had on those around her. She shared much love and joy with her friends. We will keep you in our prayers.

Im saddened to hear the loss of Janae. She was in my son's class last year and they still played at recess. I have met her a few times that I have been at the school and she is such a wonderful girl. My son misses her dearly. We will be keeping you in our prayers during this time. God just made a wonderful and beautiful angel. Rest in Peace Janae. YOu have touched many.

On Saturday when I heard of Janae's passing I cried for hours. I know Janae is in Heaven rejoicing with God; No more Pain, No more hospital stays, No more medications, No more getting tired. But for her family and friends that remain dad, mom, brothers and sisters she will be missed beyond words can describe. Jane was a beautiful little girl and she will be missed by the entire Cameron family.

Althought I only remember Joel from our high school days, I would like to pass on my most heartfelt best in the passing of Janae. We can only wonder "why" but remember, God has a plan for her now. What a joy that is knowing that she is free of all illness and running with a great big smile.

I did not know Janae but ever since Saturday morning when I read the email about her passing, I have been thinking about her and her family. My son also attends school in Carlisle, he is in kindergarten. I am so sorry to hear about your loss. I will make sure to mention Janae in our prayers tonight as well as her family and friends. I too have lost a child and I know that she will be safe up there in heaven with my little boy. May she rest in peace...

My daughter is in the first grade in Carlisle and she cried very hard when we broke the news to her about Janae. Even though they weren't in the same class, she knew Janae from recess and how much "she always smiled". We're saddened by the family's loss.

So saddened to read of her young death, but so happy for her and family that she is now in heaven. That's the challenge..to deal with our great loss and sadness at the same time our faith gives us joy and hope. May God bless her family and the scientists who are trying to find sickle cell cure. I am just a stranger, but my sympathies are with all who knew, and loved her. This is such a tragity, for a lady, so young to be taken away. God did bless her, and all who loved her, in her passing, instead of leaving her here to suffer the lingering side affects that a stroke will cause. My father is paralyzed totally from a stroke. God takes those who he has a better plan for, so she is in a better place than we are. That does not make your pain any less, so I will pray that your pain quickly leaves.

Everythime i babysat the kids Janae was always hugging my legs and sitting on my lap or attempting to get me to let her do my hair. She was such a sweetie and i miss her so so much and love her like a little sister.
