We will miss Max stopping by the International Trade Office of the State of Iowa. He always shared his knowledge, history and enthusiasm to continue to help Iowa companies establish themselves globally. I replaced Max at the State of Iowa after he retired in 1990. He is still remembered, but now will also be missed. - Kathy Hill, International Trade Office, IEDA.

I was surprised to see in the Ft. Dodge Messenger that Max passed away. My life is full of "Max" memories and I am so thankful to have run into him in Prairie du Chien a few years ago. He looked just as handsome as ever! Nete, you and Max were such great friends to my parents. I wish you the very best and will be remembering you, Max and your families in my prayers.

Neet, So sorry to here of Max's death. He was great member of the HOK. Enjoyed political views with him even though we were on different sides. He told me, at least you can talk about something besides tractors.Enjoyed stories about his service days and growing up in SE Iowa during tough times. Imagine Max and Wilbur are planning something already.Sincerely, Dean Fuller
