I worked with Peter as clinical coordinator and his assistant throughout his 6 year residency at Allegheny General Hospital in pgh pa...we became very close during that time I watched him develop his surgical skill during that time. In addition to being a fine surgeon he was a wonderful person ...I'm heartbroken to hear of his death at the young age of 50...my deepest sympathy to his family.

In August of 2010 I took a very bad fall in my home, and that's when I met Dr Lemon.
He walked into the room about 6:00 am, introduced himself and said he would be sewing me up as soon as he got some instruments, at Methodist West.
I responded, we aren't going to surgery? Have you ever done this before, pointing to my face and saying, like this?
His response was "yes and worse." We chatted all the way through the stitching. What a humble man whi did such incredible work.
I know he loved his wife because he talked about her. Now I know they were newly weds.
He was one of a kind, and if you could see my face, you would know.
May the peace of Christ settle on your family.

Peter was always available to take care of facial trauma and would unselfishly allow University of Iowa residents to observe and participate in his surgeries; he was a tremendous learning and experience source in facial trauma for young physicians.

It was always a pleasure working with Dr. Lemon. My patients had nothing but great things to say about being treated by Dr. Lemon and his staff. We will miss him visiting our office around Christmastime.
