I will continue to pray for your family. How sad for your family to loose both parents in such a short time. Just think about the difference they have made here on earth by creating your family and now the next generations. May you each allow God to ease your pain and fill the empty hole you have after such a loss.

Our deepest sympathy – we were so saddened by this news. We rented the motor home in El Valle de Sol from November 2011 – March 2012, and had many great times with both Phil and Joyce. Phil picking oranges and Joyce making orange juice….and then bringing it over to us; Phil on tour in his golf cart, or on his motorbike, a few “happy hours”. Phil was trying to rid the park of stray cats….not sure if he ever did catch “Houdini”, but we had a lot of laughs about it!
Phil was so proud of his family and everything his children and grandchildren had accomplished, and he proudly shared many of these with us. So many great memories of them both - they will be sadly missed. El Valle de Sol will never be quite the same!

Hello Loran and family. I am so sorry for your loss. Phil was a loved father, grandfather, a man with family and friends. I know that his passing is difficult for many. I was so sorry to read of Phil's passing. I first met Phil when he was selling cars in Des Moines. What a delightful, fun loving fellow he was! I am a friend of Phil's daughter Stephanie and husband John. My deepest sympathy goes out to you.
