Robert Fontanini Obituary
Waterloo
WATERLOO - Robert C. "Bob" Fontanini, 59, of LaPorte City, formerly of Waterloo, died Wednesday, May 10, at the Cedar Valley Hospice Home.
He was born November 8, 1957 in Des Moines, son of Blasco and Harriett Alliss Fontanini. He married Paula Warner February 7, 1981 at the Little Brown Church, Nashua.
Bob graduated from Ankeny High School in 1976. He has been employed with Black Hawk Sprinklers, Cedar Falls, since 1982.
Survivors include: his wife; two sons, Chris (Jennifer) Fontanini of Garrison and Michael Fontanini of LaPorte City; a daughter, Laura Fontanini of Cedar Falls; six grandchildren, Joseph, Caleb, Bryan, Katie, Elizabeth and Danica; a brother, Steve (Melinda) Fontanini of Ankeny; and three sisters, Virginia (Ron) Gilbert of Ocala, Florida, Karen Wittenbeck of Wildwood, Florida and Barbara (Patrick) Breen of Venice, Florida.
Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to noon Monday at Hagarty-Waychoff-Grarup Funeral Service on West Ridgeway, followed by a private family service.
Memorials may be directed to Cedar Valley Hospice.

I am so sorry to hear about Bob.
My heart aches for all of you he was way too young to leave this world. I have a lot of very good memories of us growing up with our parents being so close.
