Trent Bennett, 38, was born November 27, 1975, in Rock Island, Illinois, and passed away on July 16, 2014.

Trent graduated from Bondurant-Farrar High School in 1994. He enjoyed riding and working on street rods.

Trent is survived by his son, Dawson; father, Paul Bennett; mother, Kay Zwicker; brother, Paul C. Bennett; sister, Amber (Chad) Bailey; two nieces, Brittanee and Paige; one nephew, Devin; and a host of other family and beloved friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1pm on Sunday, July 20, 2014, at Hamilton's Altoona Funeral Home, 105 4th Street SW, Altoona. The family will greet friends from 11am to 1pm on Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be at 10am Monday, July 21, at Franklin Township Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the Alzheimer's Association in loving memory of Trent.

Trent's laughter was infectious. He could always make me laugh, even when I didn't want too. I'm going to miss my buddy. My thoughts & prayers are w/ his son (whom he loved very much) and his loving family. I'm very sorry for your loss. Trent will be missed by everyone that knew him.
