ERICK WUJCIK Obituary

57, passed away in San Rafael, California, June 7, 2008 after a seven month battle with pancreatic cancer. Survivors are his sweetheart, Kay Kazora; Mother Nora; Sister Peggy (Phil) Lavigne; Aunt Mary Clayton, Uncle Sam (Nancy) Galatian, Aunt's Margie Evarian, Helen Stachelski, Betty Wujcik; cousins, and dear friend Kevin Siembieda. Founder of the Detroit Gaming Center, Detroit Historical Museum web designer, Detroit News columnist, Adjunct Professor of Game Design at Hong Kong Polytechnic Univ., Writer/de-signer for the video game industry including Ubisoft & Totally Games. His greatest accomplishment was his contagious love of creative ideas that inspired people around the world. Students, game designers, fans and fellow gamers loved him for his incredible enthusiasm and inspiration to push the envelope and imagine beyond the known limits. Millions who knew him through his published works considered him a friend. A private family memorial will be held in Michigan, however all are welcome to celebrate Erick's life at www.erickwujcik.com.
