Matthew Prentice Obituary
Matthew Prentice, age 62, passed away April 8, 2021. Survived by his children Rachael (Jonathan) Gerstein, Michael Prentice, Jessica Prentice, Amanda Prentice and their mother Alicia Prentice; siblings Gregory (Teresa) Prentice, Andrew Prentice, Glenn Prentice and Megan (Timothy) Kler; granddaughter Madison Gerstein; and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents James and Margaret Prentice. Owner of Matt Prentice Restaurant Group and most recently partnered with Three Cats Café. Well known for his dedication and generosity to the Cass Community. Due to current gathering restrictions, private services will be held. An outdoor public memorial gathering will take place this summer for family, friends and colleagues in recognition of Matt's life in a well-deserved celebration. Details to follow on casscommunity.org. Memorial contributions to Cass Community Social Services or Prentice Place via casscommunity.org. Arrangements by Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, Royal Oak.
