Arletha Jackson Obituary
Service: Her homegoing celebration will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Rising Star Baptist Church, 4200 Avenue M at Miller. Pastor Ralph W. Emerson will officiate. Interment: Cedar Hill. Visitation: Friends may visit Mrs. Jackson noon to 6 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Survivors: Sister, Daisy Pearl Steele; brothers, Orblee Gholson and Melvin Bible; sister-in-law, Earnestine Jackson Carter; nieces, Patrice Thomas, Lottie Ruth and Doris Brown; extended family, Goldie Strain and Barbara DuBose; and a host of other relatives and friends.

MS. JACKSON I ONLY KNEW YOU FOR A SHORT WHILE, BUT I ENJOYED EVERY MINUTE. YOU WILL BE MISSED. MY PRAYERS GO OUT THE ENTIRE FAMLY, FOR WEEPING MAY ENDURE FOR A NIGHT BUT JOY COMETH IN THE MORNING. MAY GOD BLESS YOU.
