Arminta Jones Obituary
Arminta Jones was born Oct. 17, 1922, in Ozan, Ark. She married J.W. "Pat" Jones on Oct. 25, 1941, and they had two children, Jerry (born in 1942) and Jacque (in 1945). The couple was married for 56 years before Pat Jones' death at age 77 on Nov. 26, 1997.
Arminta was very proud of the Dallas Cowboys and was a great ambassador for her son's franchise, one of the world's most popular sports teams.
Arminta Jones is survived by her children, Jerry and Jacque, a brother and two sisters, four grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.

Jerry and Jacque, I just read about Mrs Arminta and I am so sorry. I know how your family loved one another. I didn't realize she was only a yr younger than my Dad, John. My parents always thought so highly of your parents. They were very good people and my family had alot of good times with them. So I am sending my condolences to you all and your family.

Dear Mr.and Ms. Jerry Jones and Family,Please accept my condolences. I did have the pleasure to stay with Mama Minta for a few months in 2004 and to spend times at your home for her in Dallas. She was a wonderful fun loving person.Went to Church with her on Sundays, and eat lunch before going back. I Lilly from Trinidad. God Bless and may she rest in peace.

Dear Jones family, We are so sorry for the loss of your wonderful mother. She has always been such a special person and delighted all of us at Seminole Baptist with the beautiful flowers sent to the church weekly. She attended some activities at our home and enjoyed the Christmas decorations as she explained all about her Santa Claus room. She was definitely a trooper to the end as she would have her care givers bring her to church even though she had to use her wheel chair to get around. Sorry for your loss. Pat and Arminta were very special to all who knew them. We lived by the James River Bridge for 3 years, managing the farm for Liz Martin, and we visited with Pat and Arminta several times and were invited to many parties there. My husband also sold Modern Security for a short period of time years before that. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family.
