Benjamin Cooley Obituary

Benjamin Lewis Cooley Jr., 52, passed away November 24, 2002 in Fort Worth.

Memorial Service: 1:30 p.m. Friday at Laurel Land Memorial Park. We will be honoring Ben's memory by the gravesides of family who proceeded him.

Born in Vernon, "Ben" was a native Texan who grew up in Fort Worth. He accepted Jesus and was baptized at the age of ten. He has gone home to his Heavenly Father; his parents, Ben and Mary Cooley, his sister, Mary Ellen Liles, and his brother, Edward Shannon Cooley. Ben's loving nature and light-hearted humor will be remembered warmly by family and friends who loved him.

Survivors: Sister, Judith Ann Cooley White; son, Edric Donovan Cooley; daughter, Melissa Cooley Waggoner; grandson, Matthew DeKenneth Purdy Jr.; nieces; Lori Harris, Rhonda Cooley, Michelle White, nephews; Edward Shannon Cooley Jr., Ronnie White, Stephen Cooley, Roy Liles, Ricky Liles; numerous great-nephews, great-nieces, and friends.
